Responsibilities
Must ensure that all the listed elements are carried out for each project, either directly or through the support of a laboratory assistant

• Formulation development
• Performance tests
• Stability tests
• Support to industrial trials
• Specification setting

Providing a clear definition of products, marketing claims, and raw materials requirements from the regional/local perspective
Must carry out due technical input and support in the preparation of the claim support data for the clearance of commercial labels in association with R&D categories
Taking an active participation in projects and teams which aims at increasing local margins
Provide technical support to QA, QC to deal with local consumer complaints
Implement SOP / ISO / GLP protocols with regards to:

• Data generation for product registration for submission to global regulatory agencies
• Proper operation, standardisation & maintenance of lab equipment

Maintaining accurate laboratory notebooks and technical reports
Key performance indicators

• Realisation of projects in full and on time
• Effective resolution of day-to-day issues
• Implementation of EPD/NPD

Requirements

• B. Sc/BA degree in a related science discipline and 8 years relevant experience
• M. Sc degree in a related science and 4 years cognate experience in FMCG Industry
• Ability to lead projects, to identify cost reduction factors and to solve problems
• Very good communication skills especially in English
• Ability to work in an international environment
• Strong negotiating and interpersonal skills
