Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate objectives with marketing to develop, prioritise, track and lead multiple global business and project milestones
• Apply influence to better align other functions to agreement of overall business objectives
• Ability to access situations and take appropriate risks based on logical assumptions and available facts
• Proactively identifies opportunities to apply innovative solutions to R&D challenges
• Ensure that all SOPs are implemented and followed according to company’s guidelines
• Lead and manage a functional laboratory within the regional Scientific
• Implement global product initiatives with R&D Development guidance and final approval
• Manage activities to qualify local/regional raw and packaging materials and suppliers in area of technical responsibility
• Proactively seek out opportunities for cost optimization of formula and process improvements

Key performance indicators

• Categories Net Revenues growth
• Categories Contribution growth
• Implementation of EPD/NPD
• Quality

Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc. degree in Social Sciences with relevant 10 years work experience in FMCG Industry
• Must possess M .Sc degree in related discipline with 6 years experience
• Experience running an R&D laboratory is highly required
• Proven technical and scientific experience in one or more Research & Development areas
• Proven track record in active collaboration with R&D and non-R&D functions
