Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by leading international Oil & Gas Company to recruit a Country Project Services Manager for its operations in Nigeria.Job description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising Cost Management, Planning, Risk & Opportunity, Contract Management, Document control and Performance Analysis disciplines across the region.He will report to the Country Projects & Operations Director/VP with a functional reporting line into Group Project Services Director.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for monitoring and measuring performance across all regional project portfolio and ensuring all lessons learnt (relating to PS) are identified, quantified and shared across the region and back into the Group
- Develops and fosters a positive HSEQ culture throughout the company
- Facilitates the execution of the functional plan by setting clear and realistic objectives for direct reports
- Responsible for the efficient, timely, accurate and cost effective management and delivery of activities
- Ensures the standardisation & compliance of functional policies, processes and systems
- Accountable for controlling costs and meeting budget of the department
- Provides supervision and mentoring to direct reports, and indirect reports
- Develops a constructive and professional relationship with all stakeholders
- Manages and actively participates in the performance appraisal for direct reports
- Responsible for supporting the Projects and Operations Director/VP across all projects in relation to Project Service related tasks
- Participates and provides supervision and guidance during the PMR/PSMR reviews to the project teams
- Responsible for monitoring, measuring and the recording of norms across the portfolio of projects and transferring data (related to PS) back into the tender team
- Responsible for effective implementation of new PS systems
- Responsible for ensuring that group best practice, processes, procedures and tools are available and applied to all projects (and tendering where applicable)
- Travel to project locations which may include offshore environment and other offices
Qualifications et experience
- Must possess a graduate degree with relevant Professional qualifications.
- A minimum of 10 years with relevant experience in the oil & gas sector
- Must have relevant Management experience
- Knowledge of Financial Management, Performance Management & Reporting
- Knowledge of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental best practice
- Good knowledge of Project Management, Project Control and Performance Measurement, Contract Management
- Good knowledge of Planning and review
- Resource Management and Workforce Planning
- Knowledge of tender preparation in the oil and gas contracting or similar sector.
- Good knowledge of People development & Stakeholder Management.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Must have strong communication skill
