Responsibilities
- Manage and plan the construction project and also oversee activities on the project site
- Survey the construction site and giving a report on how they wish to carry out the project and its consequences
- Liaise with stakeholders, local authorities, environmental agencies and federal entities on the project
- Conduct surveys on the sites where the construction is to take place
- Act as the quality control and assurance to ensure that the project objectives are met
- Maintain and develop engineering standards and resource skills
- Plan and ensure execution of utilities and process engineering maintenance activities
- Ensure safe design and operation of all construction processes
- Minimum of B.Sc. degree Civil Engineering
- M.Sc./MBA will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 10 – 15 years of related road construction experience is highly required
- Have strong interpersonal skills
- Good computer skills in a Microsoft Windows, Excel, PowerPoint and skills in database management and record keeping
- Ability to handle and organize required labour force
- Ability to solve problem and make appropriate decision
